Contact ITDrill

ITDrill does not have an open direct contact channel yet. There is no form on this page and nothing you type here is sent anywhere. The page explains what ITDrill can and cannot help with, and what never to send, so it is clear what a message could usefully cover once a channel is opened.

What a message can usefully be about

  • A question about a method described in an article, or an error you have found in one. Corrections to commands, definitions and arithmetic are especially welcome, because wrong recovery guidance is worse than no guidance.
  • A request for an article or a worksheet feature that would help you run a drill.
  • A conversation about recovery-readiness planning in general terms: how people approach scoping a first drill, how to frame targets for a business owner, how to structure an exercise.

What ITDrill cannot do

ITDrill does not test, monitor, audit or certify anyone’s systems. It does not run restores or drills for you, it does not hold your backups, and it cannot tell you from a message whether your recovery would work. It makes no commitment about reply times or about being able to help with a particular situation. If you are in the middle of an outage, contact your own incident team, your backup or hosting vendor, or your emergency support arrangements first; a website contact page is not an incident channel.

What not to send

Do not send passwords, API keys, tokens, multi-factor codes, private keys, backup contents, or anything that would let someone access a system. Do not send personal data about customers or colleagues. Do not attach configuration files, logs or network diagrams that identify your environment unless you have first removed anything sensitive. A general description is enough to hold a useful conversation: the kind of environment, the part of recovery planning you are asking about, and what you have already tried.

How this page works

There is deliberately no form on this page, and no message can be sent from it today. A form that appears to send a message but has nowhere to deliver it would be dishonest. If a real mailbox is configured later, a mail link will appear at the bottom of this page; until then the page says plainly that no channel is open.

Direct contact

ITDrill does not have an open direct contact channel yet, and there is deliberately no form here that would appear to send something and go nowhere. This page will show an address once one exists.
