This is a plain-language description of how this site handles information. It is not a legal document drafted by a lawyer, and it describes the site as it is built today; if that changes, this page will be updated.
What the site collects
The site has no user accounts, no comments, no newsletter sign-up and no contact form. As built, it loads no analytics scripts, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, social-media widgets, third-party fonts or other third-party resources: every page is served with its own styles, and only the drill planner page loads one small script from the same site.
The drill planner
The drill planner runs entirely in your browser. The answers you choose and the system names you type are processed by a script on the page to produce the plan, and they are not sent to ITDrill or to anyone else. The planner does not store anything in your browser between visits, so closing or reloading the page clears it. If you copy the plan text or print it, that copy is under your control. Because the planner uses what you type to build the plan on the page, avoid entering anything sensitive; generic system names such as “orders database” are enough.
Server records
Like any website, the service that delivers these pages, and any network service placed in front of it, will process technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser’s user-agent string, in order to deliver the page and keep the service secure. Such records are ordinarily kept for operational purposes by the hosting provider. ITDrill does not use them to profile visitors or to build advertising audiences.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies for visitors as built. Cookies may be set for people signed in to administer the site, which does not apply to ordinary readers.
If you contact ITDrill
If a direct contact channel is open on the contact page, anything you send will be seen by whoever reads that mailbox, together with your address, and will be used to respond to you. Please do not send credentials or sensitive operational detail; the contact page explains what to leave out.
Links to other sites
Articles may name products, standards or publications so that you can verify a detail. Those are references, not endorsements, and their own sites have their own privacy practices.
